So, I knew about this letter before it arrived thanks to the wonders of Instagram. When it did reach my post office box, my daughter was so eager to read it (she was very impressed with how the back envelope flap was inked — you can see this at the bottom of the post), that I opened it with a key. As you can see, keys were not designed for opening letters. Still, that is one gorgeous envelope!Inside it reads: Hello Sarah! Happy National Letter Writing Month (AKA my favorite part of Spring)! My name is Rae + I heard about your #Write_on challenge on IG! Your blog is so great, I’ve really enjoyed reading your article & will continue to follow along! This card is from the last of my polaroid set, I have a particular love for polaroids. In a world where you can snap a million iPhone shots to get the perfect picture, a polaroid is like $1.50 a shot nowadays — so you just take the picture + capture the moment in time w/0 retaking it a million times. I hoe that this little note finds you well!! Write on, Rae Thank you so much Rae for writing in! Your love of correspondence is downright infectious, and based on your IG feed, you have been quite busy all month sending out beautiful mail and brightening people’s days! I am most impressed and inspired! And, I know that you will make good use of this gorgeous set of 30 cards coming your way.Thank you Egg Press, Hello!Lucky and of course Write_On for donating this great set. While this promotion lasts through this month (I will be giving the last set out tomorrow) you can write me anytime for some free, fabulous stationery. Just use your favorite stationery (which is most likely gathering dust) and tell me what makes it so. My address is: P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122. And if you’re interested in being a sponsor, I’d love to hear from you too!
