“eeBoo is a boutique toy manufacturer that specializes in useful, beautiful and well-made educational games and gifts,” reads the “about” page on its site, and while that is definitely accurate, the line is so much more. It’s run by Mia Galison, whose ingenious business formula consists of commissioning artwork from well-known and well-loved children’s book illustrators to create an exquisite and non-licensed array of games, activities, art supplies and crafts. At every trade show I’ve ever seen Mia exhibit eeBoo at (and I’ve seen her at dozens), she manages to consistently surprise and dazzle the audience of buyers as she goes into interesting (and adorable) directions with her line.
These retro paper chains are no exception. It is hard to pick a favorite from the cat, the moon, the pumpkin or the owl. Made from high-quality paper, no additional material is required to construct an incredible 24 feet of chain; slits are provided to simply slip in connecting ends. $10
