Once upon a time my closet was filled with black dresses, but in the last decade or so, they have morphed to navy. Whether polka-dotted, ruched or paired with a clean white, the enticing shade has the sophistication but not the solemnity of black.
Understandably, I can’t get enough of it in invitation suites, like this captivating offering from the always-amazing Megan Wright Design Co.
This navy, grey and blush invitation suite incorporates updated Art Deco elements for an effect that feels both fresh and glamorous as it gives a nod to the Roaring ’20s. Flat printed on Crane’s cotton Lettra, it’s layered with various patterns and soft metallic blush envelopes.
Obviously I can’t get enough of Megan’s great photography too! The Stationery Academy alum is quite the designer to watch these days, everything she creates feels so original to me.
