I first came across Colleen Attara Studio while judging the LOUIE Awards last winter. Since judging is blind, I had no idea who the designer was but I found her stitched style so distinctive and fresh, while her verbiage is most poignant — a winning equation for any emerging range.
Then I got to meet Colleen at last year’s National Stationery Show and see more of her beguiling mixed media collages that are by turns quirky, wise, clever and inspiring. I love that the more you look, the more you see.
Colleen just introduced another 10 cards. “I especially love ‘navigate,'” the first card below, she told me. “I so enjoy designing cards for those times when there are no words. I have been there a few times and I would have loved a card like navigate in my mailbox.”
