Sundays with Sarah at @stationeryshow!

As the clock ticks closer to National Stationery Show — it’s less than three months away, if you can believe it — there is no better way to get a taste of it than with the Show’s IG feed, @stationeryshow. This year, they’ve asked me to provide my own favorite picks of product to be found in its aisles, and I’ve had so much fun putting together my Sundays with Sarah segments. In case you are not one of the Show’s 58.4 thousand followers who are already in the loop, let me recap briefly & bring you up to speed.

Graphique de France has been looking so sharp to me lately … and their newest luxe offerings inject the everyday with fun and more than a little sparkle. New product types include folios, trinket trays, pen sets, keychains and more! They’ll have it all on display in Booth 1812.When it comes to coffee and alone time, for me truer words were never spoken! Compoco is a women-owned, family-run operation with two sisters at its stead, Shani and Tal. They are bringing their pin game to NSS all the way from Israel. Find them in Booth 1467.

Typoflora is another international house of design, this time from Sydney. I just know the picture below does not do its exquisite product justice. These Signature Botanical Notebooks feature intricately illustrated covers on natural linen bookcloth printed in luxe rose gold foil. Inside there’s printed inside covers, blank pages and lay-flat bindings! Obviously attention has been slathered onto every last detail — join me in ogling each one in Booth 1553!

Life has definitely taken a fantastical turn these days — if I’m not daydreaming about gallivanting off on a unicorn, I’ll gladly take the mermaid life for $200, Alex! Imagine: it’s just you, the sea, the sun and lots of waves gently lapping on the rocks as you trill an intoxicating aria. This dose of otherworldly encouragement and inspiration comes from another sister act, Alice and Doris of ilootpaperie, in dazzling green foil no less! See this shiny scaled beauty and a lot more pun-rich design in Booth 1552.No visit to NSS is complete without a stroll through Anna Griffin’s booth. She is to stationery what Kate Spade is to handbags — so her new releases are an excellent barometer of how the design wind is blowing. Anna’s new Leilani sun-kissed collection is a departure from her more traditional designs, but the meticulous tailoring and pristine presentation gives her away. I am loving this vibrant homage to the tropical foliage and colors of our glorious 50th state. It’s elegant, nostalgic yet completely now, which is what Anna does best! Can’t wait to see it in person in Booth 1616.Finally, we have this sumptuous double-sided giftwrap from Bespoke Letterpress, also from Australia. Each sheet features lovingly hand-drawn illustrations on heavyweight 100% recycled paper — and these pair smashingly with the maker’s equally gorgeous letterpress swing tags. Get ready to be dazzled by these and a lot more fabulous in Booth 1940!So now you’re all caught up. Here’s an insider NSS tip: you can see more finds for yourself on the Show’s Exhibitor List Index. Just click on those exhibitors with a shopping bag icon beside them, and get ready for an eyeful. If you are an exhibitor wanting your product to be featured, be sure to upload images, because that’s where I shop from too. Speaking of which, don’t miss a single Sunday with Sarah, every week up until NSS, by following the Show’s IG feed here!
