I have always loved surprises … especially the kind that appear in my mailbox. So I was rather thrilled a week or so back when a rather mysterious Royal Mail envelope showed up amongst the usual junk mail and bills.

Sent from the very generous souls at London’s own Katie Leamon, it contained some of the chicest personalized stationery I’ve seen in quite some time. Best of all, it’s personalized to me. Thank you so much for sending these lovelies my way!

I can’t get enough of the sweet presentation & the rather dear polka-dotted kraft envelopes — or that my address has gotten the British treatment. I try not to hoard stationery — for me, there is always more where that came from — but these are going to be used very sparingly. So far I’ve only parted with one, as a thank-you to Etsy Wholesale for this lovely & rather flattering print.

Katie created these to introduce a stationery product with a quintessentially timeless appeal that would attract both men and women, and I think she definitely succeeded. Just launched last month, there are several designs from which to choose, shown throughout this post. All arrive poshly boxed.

Best of all, the British house now ships stateside. Prices start at £30 (about $45) for a set of 20 correspondence cards. Check them out here — and while you’re there, be sure to shop all their luxe, classicly understated selections. Their swank notebooks and gift tags & wrap are but a few things to swoon for.

And, you’ll be able to see all of Katie Leamon’s designs at National Stationery Show.
