The days are ticking down to the first-ever summer edition of National Stationery Show (NSS), co-located with NY NOW August 10-13. NSS recently announced a special collaboration with The Emily Post Institute, which frankly is a marriage made in heaven, since the Emily Post brand is synonymous with manners and etiquette as it relates to milestones and everyday occasions alike. No matter what role you play in our industry (not to mention in life), at some point you will need some guidance!
Spanning five generations and nearly a century, this family business maintains and evolves the standards of etiquette that Emily Post established with her seminal book Etiquette in 1922. And its youngest members will be on hand throughout the Show.
Saturday and Sunday in the River Pavilion, Booth #513, don’t miss the Meet & Greet with Lizzie Post. Lizzie is the great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post, and co-President of The Emily Post Institute. She is also the author of Higher Etiquette, and co-author of Emily Post’s Etiquette 19th edition as well as Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette 6th edition, and The Etiquette Advantage in Business 3rd edition.
Lizzie will be on hand to help with etiquette dilemmas you face when planning events and working with customers and clients. This special meet & greet is only at NSS!
Then, Monday and Tuesday, also in the River Pavilion, Booth #513, Lizzie will be joined by her cousin Daniel Post Senning to mingle with attendees and exhibitors sign copies of their latest books.
Daniel is the great-great grandson of Emily Post and a co-author of Emily Post’s Etiquette, 19th edition and The Etiquette Advantage in Business, 3rd edition. He is the main presenter of the Emily Post Business Etiquette Training programs. Daniel especially delights in discussing his stationery wardrobe!
And on Monday, don’t miss the live podcast directly on the show floor! As far as I know, this is a NSS first! From 1 – 2 in the River Pavilion, Lizzie and Daniel will host their podcast, Awesome Etiquette. With advice on everything from event planning, gifting and re-gifting to invitation do’s and don’ts and thank-you cards, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
Take a break from the Show floor to laugh, groan and nod in agreement as this well-mannered cousin duo helps you infuse your life and business with consideration, respect and honesty, tempered with just a dash of tradition.
Don’t forget: NSS opens a day early, on Saturday, August 10th alongside the NY NOW Handmade Division. This way you have early access for a full day of shopping before the rest of the NY NOW attendees arrive. Register here!
