My Mind’s Eye at #NSS2018!

It feels almost surreal to be less than a week away from National Stationery Show, but it’s really happening. One must-have on any walking list is My Mind’s Eye. Designer Marcia Cornell launched this hand-illustrated range of paper crafting products in 1999, but it has since grown to encompass party and stationery offerings as well. And when it comes to party, every detail is well-thought-out and coordinated for savvy styling ease! It’s no surprise that My Mind’s Eye has been nominated for an incredible 16 Best New Product Awards at NSS, and also won best new booth design at AmericasMart. This house of party and paper was nominated for Best New Product at NY NOW and won the New at NY NOW marketing contest earlier this year. Meanwhile, their party décor has appeared on TV, in movies, not to mention countless celebrity fêtes. During the 2016 Christmas season, their party fans even festooned the White House!“At My Mind’s Eye, we believe that life is meant to be a celebration, and that it shouldn’t be hard to throw a party or celebrate a holiday in a beautiful festive way!” Marketing Director Candice Stringham told me. “We have party collections that will take you from an elegant wedding, to a charming children’s party, to a tailgate b.b.q. featuring your favorite team’s colors. We are in booth 1608 and are inviting anyone who would like to come have a soda in the booth on us, to try out our new resusable color changing straws. They come clear with a white pattern that reveals a color when you place the straw in a cold drink! They are the perfect fun addition to a party that will wow anyone’s guests.”Wow! That is just the tip of the iceberg however, as to great finds within My Mind’s Eye’s walls. New this year are tabletop pieces to match their most popular Trend Collection in mint, coral, cream, blush pink, and gold foil. Other settings pale beside these layered finds! There’s also not one but two new party collections. Next Halloween, this is how the sweetest shindigs will be dressed, replete with hanging bats and spiders, plus glitter accents no less!Meanwhile, any little space fan will deem Rocket to be out of this world. It features stars, rockets, and the solar system. Both of the new collections feature graphics with holographic accents. There’s not too much that’s basic about the Basic Collection range. My Mind’s Eye is known for its fabulous fans, and clients can match any color scheme with 16 different varieties. That includes 12 different color options as well as four metallics: gold, rose gold, silver or holographic. Holographic, by the way, debuts this year! Also at the show this year, My Mind’s Eye is conducting Instagram Live interviews with what they are calling key players — and they have invited me to participate! Mine will be at 3 pm on Monday,  May 21. So be sure to swing by booth 1608 — or tune into their IG feed to be a part of the fun!
