I’ve been in magazine production all week, but I must take a break from the spring issue of Stationery Trends to share a really fun highlight coming to TPC throughout April — which, in case you have been living under a rock, is National Letterwriting Month!

Write_on — that fabulous campaign launched by Egg Press and Hello!Lucky in 2014 — is a challenge to write 30 letters in 30 days throughout April. To help get the effort started, they have given away 10,000 free kits of stationery — but if you missed out on that swag, don’t despair!

They have generously donated five very special kits of 30 cards each to The Paper Chronicles’ Letter-Writing Campaign — and judging from these images (the kits are currently in transit), they’re super-duper-fabulous! I spy a lot of letterpress from Egg Press and Hello!Lucky, plus fun notecard sets from Chronicle BooksUntitled 2 copy 2hhhUntitled 2 copy 244 Untitled 2 copy 2 Untitled 2 copy 2ttt Want to snag one of these babies for yourself? Throughout April I’ll be picking correspondents to receive these special kits. So, even though it’s March 31, the time is now. Write me on your favorite stationery (which is most likely gathering dust)  and tell me what makes it so. My address is: P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122.

In the meantime, check out Write_on events this year. Some companies like Adidas have taken the challenge — and it’s not too late to get yours on board as well!

Don’t forget share your adventures online and connect with the growing movement on Instagram and elsewhere with the hashtag #write_on. And you’ll be inviting others to take on the challenge just by writing the hashtag on envelopes too!

Thank you so much to the good eggs at Egg Press for your generosity, and I’m looking forward to a correspondence-rich April!Untitled 2 copy 2r
