So, how is everyone’s April correspondence going so far? I hope you’re all writing — not to mention receiving — lots of letters!
Today’s note hails from Tampa, Florida. Tona Bell is the proprietress of a fabulous venue, The Paper Seahorse Paperie + Makerie. I wish it was closer to my neck of the woods — not only does it feature a carefully curated mix of all things writing & handmade, but also a very impressive line-up of classes and workshops.
Tona’s letter reads: Hi Sarah, I love your blog and I am very excited about National Card + Letter Writing Month. We are celebrating with a full day of writing, typing and mail art classes. We will have a free community “type in” and are screening the Making Mail documentary. Long live snail mail! Best, Tona Bell
Thank you so much for writing in, Tona, and wow, I wish I could swing by April 25 for your Writing Expo! What a line-up. And, I’ve only watched the first few minutes of the documentary, but it looks incredible!
Can you write 30 letters in 30 days? Aside from stamps, you’ll have everything you need to do so, including a Gelly Roll pen from Sakura of America. Don’t forget to share your adventures online and connect with the growing movement on Instagram and elsewhere with the hashtag #write_on.
Do you want to get some free stationery for yourself? Just drop me a quick note on your favorite stationery (which is most likely gathering dust) and tell me what makes it so. My address is: P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122.
I have two more #write_on kits to give away, plus a slew of great sponsors, big and small, who have generously donated their wares. If you are interested in being sponsor, please reach out as well — I’d love to hear from you!
