And … I’m back! And what better way to get back into the blogging fold than with a great Letter-Writing Campaign missive?
As you can see, this one arrived in pristine condition all the way from Amsterdam. I think this is the first hand-polka-dotted envelope I’ve ever received, and it’s simply divine. Love that ladybug stationery too!It reads: Dear Sarah, I just found you through the write_on blog, and thought this the perfect opportunity to start the challenge.
Loved your blog, especially the letter-writing campaign. I love finding out people with my same passion for writing letters.
I also try in some way to encourage people to keep the art of letter-writing alive and do occasional paper crafts to be sent (via air mail) on my blog (onebuntingaway.blogspot.com). This paper is my second favorite — I ran out of my favorite from some time ago and haven’t been able to find it. But even if beautiful paper is also a passion — I think the most important part is always the words.
So thank you for keeping the art of letter-writing alive.
All the very best, Giova Benson
Thank you so much for writing in, Giova — I agree it’s all about the authentic content as well. Speaking of which, what an inspiring, beautiful blog you have! Your Flat Project is amazing. The package I have for you came about somewhat serendipitously. I had a bunch of samples from Antiquaria Design Studio that I thought would be perfect for you, but when I wrote Bailey to inquire about getting some images of them, she didn’t have them since some were exclusive to a stationery kit.
But, she most graciously offered to put ANOTHER kit together, and waiting for me when I got back from vacation was yet another fabulously addressed envelope! The cards cross several of Antiquaria’s collections and include the most marvelous Aloha pineapple, the Botanical Wreath Birthday Card (with a pop of copper foil), the Coco Happy Birthday Card and of course Thanks A Melon, also with copper foil. Thank you so much Bailey, your work will soon be headed to the Netherlands!Speaking of which, do you want some free, fabulous stationery too? Just drop me a quick note on your favorite paper (which is most likely gathering dust) and tell me what makes it so. My address is: P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122. And if you are interested in being sponsor, don’t be shy — I’d love to hear from you too!
