While it may not even be Halloween yet, winter holiday releases start early, and I’ve already got a few dazzling releases to share with you this week. First up, we have Page Stationery, which entered 2017, its 18th year of business, with a lofty to-do list. This coming of age included a new look, a new website and a whole lot of new energy, Creative Director Stephanie Russell told me. “As the year kicked off we dove right into what the rest of the world is not thinking about in January — HOLIDAY!”
Their new collection is characterized by what the creative team loves most: Letterpress + Color! “I am sure like most teams, we are divided on how we like our holidays here. Half the team is all about tradition and the other half likes to mix it up and take a few color risks,” she added. “But in the end we pulled a collection together that makes quite a statement!”
That means the attention-grabbing A6 card collection — packaged eight to a box with pretty coordinating envelopes — features something for everyone, everything from hot pink to traditional reds and greens to cool neutrals. Champagne foil in combination with a blind press on the Peace Dove card (fourth image down) is definitely a great message to send out this year.
The wrapping papers (sold three sheets to a roll) are again a blend of old and new design — love the pink and red dots! “A well wrapped gift is something we take seriously,” Stephanie said — and it shows!
But I am really loving the attention paid here to the oft-overlooked gift tag.“Gift tags are the teaser to show those you love how special your gift is going to be. We like to call it the calling card to what’s inside,” Stephanie emphasized. “Our new gold foil, extra thick, luxurious gift tags are the perfect ‘wizzle’ to add to any package. We offer three assorted letterpress gift tag sets; each contain two styles. Go big and try the 4” round tags!”
And, how better to spread the joy of the season than with these Enamel Pin Sets? Put ’em on your favorite jacket, or drop a set in a stocking!
