I was really excited to get not one but two letters in my post office box this past Friday (and fingers crossed that there are more waiting for me later today). Here is the first. It comes all the way from Austin, Texas, from the talented Brannon Cullum of Happy Cactus Designs. The thank-you is one of her new cards, a silver foil-stamped number that looks even sharper encased in a Kraft envelope. Brannon had sent me images, but this is the first time I’ve seen it in use and it is just darling. I really like the wee size, just smaller than an index card. It fits into the hand nicely (and looks adorable peeking out of the mail). You can buy it here or find a nearby store here.
I also really enjoyed her note:
Congrats on the launch of the Paper Chronicles and thank you for featuring our Christmas card in the latest issue of Stationery Trends. I am loving your new blog and so happy to see you are encouraging letter writing. I’m guilty of hoarding pretty paper goods — I still hold on to cards that are like 15 years old that I just can’t part with!
Here’s to sending more cards!
I am actively working on lining up more sponsors and more topics — if you have any ideas (or donations) don’t hesitate to put them in the comments or drop me a line. In the meantime, please keep those letters coming! Here again is the address: The Paper Chronicles, P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122.
