I am getting behind on these responses — this one arrived over a week ago already —  so I wanted to share this gorgeous missive as well. It comes from Brown Ink’s Wendy Brown, who was gracious enough to make this blog one of her Wednesday Picks a few weeks back. I love this clean design, along with the understated yet elegant Kraft envelope it arrived in. Anything to highlight the beauty of the colder months makes them easier to bear, I think. But before I wax on about this card any longer, I’ll share Wendy’s sweet letter, which does a much better job than I:

Sarah,

I’m thrilled you’ve opened your world to the public through the fabulous new blog, The Paper Chronicles. It’s sharp yet inviting. And any excuse to write a letter is good for me! This card comes from Scout’s Honor Co. out of Burlington, Vermont. I’ve been following the designer, Annemarie, for the last few years and knew I needed to include her in the Brown Ink Paper Goods selection (soon to open!). Annemarie is inspired by the beauty which surrounds her in New England. I love how she uses her graphic talent to bring these images to life and the paper.

Cheers, Wendy

Thank you so much Wendy! What a treat to get this in the mail. Please look out for an ultra-special, limited-edition Luscious Verde card quartet making its way to you. I can’t wait to see what other treasures you’ve got up your sleeve when your store opens.
