This adorable textured card comes from Shien-Ru Tso of New York’s Visuals Circles Press, what a lovely watercolored image. Inside it reads:
Dear Sarah, I cam across your letter-writing campaign and I had to take part. I’m obsessed with stationery! I love the art of correspondence, everything from finding the perfect paper, the envelope and of course the stamp. I want the person receiving it to feel special. I hope this campaign encourages others to put more pen to paper. I hope you like my card — it reminds me of summer! Keep up the great work! Best, Shien-Ru Tsao
Thank you so much for writing in, Shien-Ru! I’ve blogged in the past about her project Let’s Support, designed to celebrate libraries, but it looks like she’s got a new pet project. I’ll be sending her a Jasper and Silver folded card set from The Libretto Group’s ultra-luxe Christian Lacroix range. The eight cards are in two of several summery colors — turquoise, rose, yellow and lavender — and match the extra-fancy envelope interiors and foil stickers. They are just gorgeous in person, they’re actually a little hard for me to part with! Thank you so much to Sharon at Libretto for generously donating them!
I can’t tell a lie — it has taken me a while to get letters up here, but my pile is diminishing & I do want everyone reading this blog to write in! Participating is so easy. Just send me a letter, card or postcard on your favorite paper and tell me what makes it so. My address is: P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122. I will share it here, and then send you even more stationery for your efforts. And to anyone else who is interested in donating, please reach out — I definitely want to hear from you too!
