Good morning! This lovely handmade missive, created by Diane Morris of mythreepeonies, made its way to me all the way from El Paso, Texas.

It reads:

Hi Sarah,

I enjoyed listening to your interview on Smart Creative Women. I love the idea of your letter exchange challenge and appreciate you inviting us to join in. I agree that there is nothing quite like getting a hand-written letter in the mail!

I will look forward to receiving a response from you. Isn’t it interesting that, though our paths will probably never cross, we can still connect on an issue of the heart?

Best wishes, Diane Morris

Diane, thanks so much for writing in — your work is obviously crafted with such love and care, and I couldn’t agree more with your sentiments. Every letter I get is so meaningful because while I don’t necessarily know the sender, I know they are a kindred spirit!

I think Chronicle Books’ Polaroid Love Notes are perfect for you — so please look out for them very soon! The dreamy notes set a warm mood as they inspire heartfelt prose. Here’s the box below, and the post ends with one of the 20 notes. Thank you so much to ChronicleBooks for generously passing these along!

I can’t tell a lie — it does take me a while to get letters up here, but I do want everyone reading this blog to participate! And, I haven’t gotten anything but junk mail in my P.O. Box for the last few weeks so while I still have plenty to share here, I’ve been feeling a little lonely and would love to hear from you.

Participating is so easy. Just send me a letter, card or postcard on your favorite paper and tell me what makes it so. My address is: P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122. I will share it here, and then send you even more stationery for your efforts. And to anyone else who is interested in donating, please reach out — I definitely want to hear from you too!
