Good Postage Shows Some Gratitude!

Last week I wrote about 18 Million Thanks — which, at my last peek, has generated some 10,503 cards being sent to health care workers! Now, one of its members, Good Postage, just launched its Gratitude Collection, but it’s a little different than most you’ve seen.

Let me back up a bit here. Like many great indie houses of paper, Good Postage is a family business, specifically, a mother-daughter team. Jane, the daughter, graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and creates all the gorgeous artwork, while Karen is editor, business manager, and mom-boss.

They produced this range specifically for all the health care workers, grocery store employees and teachers working so selflessly during this challenging time. “We hope that these cards will give a lift to each recipient and make them feel valued,” they wrote me.

Karen and Jane are donating ALL the proceeds from this collection to Feeding America, The CDC Foundation, and their local public school district, The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Foundation.  Additionally, they’re offering free shipping and no minimums to wholesalers, and free shipping to retail customers. They have raised $596.75 as of May 5, so let’s get that number higher!
