Amy Smyth is apparently as busy as she is funny. Her amazing Amy Smyth Made It line of greeting and photo cards is available at, she was appointed to the board of directors of the Greeting Card Association last month — AND she creates another range of cards and stationery called Ecka & Pecka (one of which took Card of the Year LOUIE honors for 2011). That company, by the way, is named for her small niece’s imaginary friends — and I should note here that the child in question definitely does not have a drinking problem.

What I love about Ecka & Pecka is that each offering is very strong design-wise — the humor is just the icing on the cake. This card front feels both retro and modern, and if you love bacon, you’re going to find it hard to resist. But wait, there’s more! Its inside message reads “I made that up. Just wanted you to have a few seconds of happiness on your birthday.” Printed on 100% recycled paper, the card is 5″x7″ and about $3-$3.25.
