So, today I was planning to kick off this post with a peek at the gorgeous 2020 calendar now available for pre-sale from giddy paperie. This beguiling year-long journey is sure to sell well as as always, and Leslie sent me several shots this past weekend as she patiently waited out Hurricane Dorian in her Winter Park, Florida, home.
But then, yesterday she emailed me with yet another new release, this one far more urgent. Meet the Bring Back the Blue Bahama Relief mug, adorned with Leslie’s signature watercolors in a tropical-esque chinoiserie.
These mugs are $20, with ALL proceeds going directly to help the families on Marsh Harbor on Elbow Cay in the Bahamas. “I was just there in May, and my heart aches for the locals and my friends who have lost their homes,” Leslie told me. “People literally have nothing and the airport is under five feet of water.”
