Today’s letter is written on very pretty handmade paper — so delicate it is nearly transparent — and is from Williamsburg, Va.

11-13 copy

It reads:

Dear Sarah,

Thank you for your awesome blog! It’s wonderful that you are encouraging people to dust off their old stationery and start writing again.

On my blog, The Wellness Wife, I have been focusing on getting kids writing letters through my pen pal exchange.

I chose this paper because it has always been my favorite. I’ve had it for YEARS. Since college, if not before. I always hated to use it because it was so beautiful. So, here I am with 15-20 year-old paper in my drawer! It’s from Translink Corporation, a paper wholesaler out of Berkeley, CA. It’s organic + recycled, which is another reason it’s so awesome!

Look forward to hearing from you! Lisa

Thank you so much for writing in, Lisa, and I’m happy & honored that you used some of your gorgeous handmade paper! I love your Pen Pal Exchange, how brilliant!

I have just the thing for you from our latest and very generous sponsor, Jonesy. This Emergency Pack contains a box of 10 cards for different occasions: birthday, thank you, new baby, hello, holiday blank, congratulations. They are also including a box of their paper pens!

Their motto for this cute kit: Be prepared for the unexpected … and for the expected that catches you unprepared. Thank you so much for creating these just for us!

Do you want some free stationery swag? Then send me a letter, card or postcard on your favorite paper (which is most likely gathering dust) and tell me what makes it so. My address is: P.O. Box 22133, Beachwood, Ohio 44122.

I will share it here, and then send you even more stationery for your efforts. And to anyone else who is interested in donating, please reach out — I definitely want to hear from you too!
